Stampin up Convention

Hi Stampers and Happy Monday. 

Today I am packing and getting ready for my trip to Utah.  I am going to Stampin' Up!'s convention.  I am so excited!!  Here is a picture of what I have been working on.

That is about 150 swaps and name tags for me and Phoebe's bag that we will get at convention.

Kissing with Butterflies

Hi Stampers,

I wanted to share a card that we will be making at my class and clubs in July.  Using the "kissing" technique on the butterflies makes them very beautiful but simple.

My next class is July 17.  I would love to see you all there.

Kindred Inkers Swaps

I attended a meeting with the "Kindred Inkers" last Monday night and wanted to share the swaps.  I really enjoy swapping ideas with other stampers.  If you look carefully you will see new colors, ribbon, DSP (Designer Series Paper) and more from the new catalog.  Speaking of the new catalog, they have arrived and if you want one let me know as soon as possible, I don't have many extras.  They are $5 (I sell them at cost).  Or if you are interested in getting one for free along with exclusive stamp sets and other Stampin' Up! products lets plan a time for a workshop.  The hostess of the first workshop in July will receive an extra exclusive level one stamp set!!

Stamp Club in Pueblo

One Sunday a month I drive to Pueblo for Stamp Club.  Most of my husband's and my family live there so I get to spend time with some of them too.  So I truly enjoy my trips to Pueblo (about 1 hour 45 minutes away).

So I wanted to share with you the cards we will be making.

 I think this card is really cute and I will be showing water coloring with Stampin" Up!'s watercolor pencils.

I saw this card on Shelli's blog http://www.soshelli.com/.  Yes Shelli Gardner, co-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up!  I changed the colors, but I just love this card.  It was one of the cards from her Workshop's of a Lifetime.  Thanks Shelli.(she is truly a great person).

Club this Sunday

Home from Maui

Hi Everyone,  I got home from a nice vacation in Maui.  My husbands works so hard and from his hard work we get to go on beautiful vacations.  Thanks Jim!!  Anyway when I got home and went through the mail, I got a really nice card from my dear friend Phoebe.  She said in the card that she is trying to use up the colors that are leaving Stampin' UP! due to the color renovation.  If you haven't heard of the color renovation you can click on over to my website:  www.Kathyhowes.stampinup.net and see all the details.  I just love these colors together and what a nice surprise to come home to.  Thanks Phoebe!!

Lots to Show and Tell

Hi Stampers,

Easter Bag

This is what I put my son's Easter candy in. I didn't plan on it turning out quite this girly, but he appreciated the effort. For all of you that say you don't have time to stamp.....it took all of 10 minutes, beginning to end. The hardest part was trying to find a place to stamp, as you can see my desk is a little messy!!
